Laundry/shopping Folding Cart JUMBO - (BLUE) Review

A little over 10 years ago, I bought this same cart from another dealer.

Yes, I think the pins are a bit flimsy -- but they lasted almost 11 years.

Yes, a swivel front would seem, at first breath, to be better -- but this unit was easy to take up and down stairs, and a swivel front would probably have problems with that kind of movement.Once you get used to maneuvering the cart, you discover how to get it through tight spaces without much of a problem.

I don't know about the 250 lb "brag" -- I never weighed the stuff going in -- but it's a great help to a senior citizen with tons of "sore joints", and it makes unloading the car an absolute breeze.

In the end, the only important thing is that the cart lasted for over a decade, and was as good yesterday as it was the day it was purchased, despite more than a decade of HEAVY usage.

Unfortunately, the hanger in my garage unexpectedly gave way and fell out of the wall this morning. The shopping cart hit the garage floor first, followed by an extremely heavy "pot mover". The pot mover was so heavy that it sheared off the stabilizer bar between the rear wheels of the cart. That is the ONLY reason that it needs replacing!!!

BTW:This is the first time I've written a review -- but this has been a wonderful aid, and the somewhat negative tone to a number of the reviews doesn't fairly represent what a wonderful tool it's been for all these years.

Trimmer Shopping Cart Review

Excellent value.
I'm very pleased with this shopping cart.I live within walking distance to the supermarket and a mall. This cart works out very well for me and I am able to do my shopping and not have to carry alot of heavy items home.
I recently sold my car and the cart is the only wheels I have now. I take the bus to go to work and I have seen people take these carts on the bus and I might do that at some point. The cart folds up very nicely to take up less space and it takes up just a small area in my closet when not in use.I like the extra size of this cart and is larger than most shopping carts I have seen.People have seen me with the cart and have asked me where it got the cart and of course I told them I ordered it from Amazon.com but also they could get it from Target. I also use the cartto take my laundry to the laundry room of my apartment building.It saves on trips to the laundry room with heavy loads. It took me a while to figure out how to assemble it and I have arthritis in my hands but I figure if I can do anyone can. I highly recommend this cart.

I love, love love this cart.I walk with a cane and and don't go any farther than I have to so this cart is great.I do my monthly shopping and I can get it all in the apartment in one trip and don't have to go back and forth carrying groceries since it is a distance to where I park.I really appreciate the fact that it folds up and saves space when I am not using it. I use it to take my trash out to the dumpster and to carry packages to the car at Christmas.I can also use it to carry packages into the post office so I don't have to hold them in line.I had one that was a little less sturdy and used it for 10 years and when it fell apart, I was so delighted to find this one.It is economical and and a lifesaver for me.I recommend this to everyone.

Folding Shopping Cart - with Liner and Lid (Blue) (37"H x 18"W x 23"D) Review

We've had this cart for about 2 years.It was working fine, until the back wheels started to wobble.Once that started the cart lasted 2 trips.The mounting for the back wheels is not superb, and once they go, that's it.Maneuvering it around the grocery store can be a pain as it has some trouble turning, even though the front wheels swivel.

I've never had one of the chrome type carts where none of the wheels swivel, so I'm sure this is easier to maneuver, but don't expect it to handle like a grocery store cart.I'm not sure if those chrome carts are more durable or not, but they look like they might be.Also, it's kind of short, so if you're of 5'9" or taller expect to bend down to push it.One last thing, since the front wheels swivel and the cart is not super stable, it's nearly impossible to push with one hand.

Deluxe Roadrunner 3 Wheel Stair Climber Grocery Shopping Cart Review

I have two of these carts - this one and the predecessor to this one.The predecessor was larger - that is same width but deeper (back to front) and that makes a lot of different in what can be put in it.The older bag does not have the zippered compartment on the front - but I have found I do not use this zippered compartment.They are sturdy bags - the 3-wheels really do the trick in getting items up the stairs without breaking your back.I occasionally put larger boxes on the frame (that could not go inside the bag) using bungy cords and that works well too.All in all this cart was a lifesaver for me when I lived upstairs in an apartment building (without an elevator) and I'd have 10-12 bags from the local grocery store to get up the stairs - I could do it in 2 trips instead of 3 or 4 - and without strain or the heavy bag handles digging into my cars as I try to carry them.I bought the second cart and now I can do it in one trip - easy enough to wheel each cart with one hand.I have to leave one cart at the bottom of the stairs while I take the first cart up - then go down and get the cart left and take it up - but all in all - I can do it in one trip. This newer version of the cart has a place to slip in a closed umbrella on the left side which you can see in the picture (above the triple wheels).

Now I live in a house and park in the basement below, but I still occasionally use the carts to bring items up the basement stairs to the kitchen.I would rate the older larger bag a 5 star - this newer bag gets 3-4 stars due to the smaller size.But I have not found anything else that can make carrying heavy, multiple items up the stairs as easy as this cart.I am glad to have found them.

Cart Liner with Hood for Laundry & Shopping - Dark Blue Review

First off, it took two weeks to get. I ordered it with the cart suggested on Amazon, and I got the cart in less then48 hours from when I ordered it (and I ordered it on a Sunday) and I recieved the liner more then two weeks later. The liner is cheap cloth and looks like it's gonna break. I've been putting my pop up hamper in the cart and that fits a lot better. I also thought that as a liner, it would be good for doing laundry in the snow or rain to protect the clothes, nope.. not gonna happen. This liner is very thin and cheap, not worth the 7 or 8 bucks to buy it, and then another 5 or 6 to ship it. How does it cost 6 dollars to ship something so light and have it arive more then 2 weeks later? Don't order this, you will not be happy.

Whitney Designs 3-Wheel Shopping Trolley Cart Review

I have spent some time in Europe and this fits my expectations. It is pretty sturdy and a paper (or reusable) bag fits perfectly inside with room to spare. I need it for easier transport of groceries but I think that anyone with a desire to move all of their purchase up stairs or longer distances will find that this compact cart is perfect.

I have used this type of cart for quite some time now.The ones that I had previously purchased came from CVS.I needed a heavier cart and a taller cart.With the one from CVS, I had to hunch over slightly (I'm 6' tall).This cart really fit the bill for me.The construction is much heavier and it is a sturdy item that rolls well regardless of surface.It was not overly difficult to put together(I'm not mechanically inclined) and all of the parts (including some spares) were included.
All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase (I bought two).

Honey-Can-Do Shopping/Utility Cart Review

I really like this cart.It folds reasonably flat for storage and has a nice spacious basket.My criticism echoes that of others here: the rear wheels do not come assembled and there are no assembly instructions. I am not inexperienced with things like this, so I thought it would be no problem to figure it out, but with an axle, 4 pins of two different sizes, two springs, six washers and 2 wheel caps...I think you need to spell things out a little more clearly.Even a simple line illustration on the label would do the trick, so what is the difficulty?Failing all else, a photo of the rear wheels as they should be assembled would do the trick.

I recently moved to Japan and do not have a car.Luckily I live across the street from a grocery store but they do not let you take the baskets outside, so I needed something to tow my groceries across the street.I have recieved this product about 2 months ago and have used it a handful of time and for the most part i am pleased.I do wish the wheels turned it is very difficult to turn the cart when it is loaded with groceries and I also wish it was a tad bit more heavy duty, also there is a plastic comfort grip where your hands go that do not stay in place.Features I love it got here in a short amount of time, the color, the size, how it folds with little effort, easy storage and the front extra basket is a wonderful place for bread and eggs or produce.I gave this product 3 stars because it truely has made my life a bit easier had the wheels turned it would easily gotten a 5!

Jumbo Folding Shopping Cart - Chrome (Chrome Cart) (41.75"h x 24"w x 21"d (cart size)) Review

I bought this cart from Stacks and Stacks several weeks ago and I am really pleased with it. It requires very little assembly(just the wheels) and the instructions were very easy to follow.I take it to the supermarket 2-3 times a week and, the supermarket is one mile away from my house. So I would say I take it 4-6 miles every week, and I load it up with items such as 12 packs of soda, 2.5 gallon water, and cat litter along with the rest of my groceries. It is also a very nice looking cart, as I do not see many of these carts in chrome and the black handle is thick foam, not plastic as I have seen on other carts. I am very pleased with this cart, it is just what I wanted : )

This is a great cart and I'm 6'6" and the handle is a good height and I don't have to stoop to roll it around. I couldn't ask for better!
You should have someone mechanically inclined to help put it together as the translated instructions are a bit confusing. No problem for me but it might be for others. The liner offers privacy so other's can't see what you have in it if you have the top over it. The liner also prevents items from sticking out or falling out. You can't beat the price even with shipping from Lories Paradise Nursery. I know. I couldn't believe a nursey was selling it either but they beat all the others!! FAST SHIPPING!
